(SPECIAL NOTE:  Most of the general and miscellaneous sites linked here feature various games and activities for all ages.  Many of these sites will appeal to a wide range of age groups and ability groups.   Specific links that will probably appeal mostly to younger or less-advanced students are marked with a pink bullet (); specific links that will probably appeal mostly to older or more advanced students and even adults are marked with a green bullet ().  Some sites appeal to both younger and more advanced students in different ways and are therefore marked with both a pink and green bullet ().

Studies show that children (and people in general) are attracted to activities that target their own specific levels and areas of need in cognitive development.  Therefore, the games or sites that one really likes are the ones that they need for their own specific current level of cognitive development.  If there is a site that you don’t like as much, it is probably because either (1) you are beyond this level of cognition—it is too simple or easy for you, or (2) you are not yet ready for this level of cognition—it is too advanced or complicated for you at this time, requiring prerequisite drills on some more basic games and activities.   ENJOY EXPLORING THESE LINKS AND DISCOVERING WHICH ONES YOU LIKE BEST!
