NOTE: After the H. & H. music store on Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena first closed down, instrument repairmen who had worked there soon opened up this store, their own instrument repair shop. This shop is very close to our school, located in Deer Park at 4930 Luella Avenue, right off of Spencer Highway, not far past Center Street, and across Spencer Highway from San Jacinto College (central campus). This is where most of the band students in our area are now taking their instruments for repair work, and they do excellent repair work there. Target now sells Gibson-Baldwin beginner band instruments, including trumpets, clarinets, and flutes. They also sell violins, BUT, if you are thinking of buying a violin, first check with your orchestra teacher to make sure that it is the right size for you! Instruments are not always kept in stock at these stores. If they are out of stock and you are interested, then you may need to special order an instrument from them (in which case you should allow for delivery time.)
