Treasurer’s Report
Checking account balance is $2528.13.
Old Business
Uniform Cleaning. It was agreed that during band camp Amy Shreeves and Tammy Smith would do fittings on Thursday and Friday between 1-3 p.m. Those uniforms, along with a few spares, will be dry cleaned before the first game.
Tax Exemption Number. We will pay the $300 later when we have more funds available. We may not have to pay, because we are a school activity. Or perhaps we can use the high school's number (check with Ms. Butcher).
Prime Time Advertising. Leslie Ward has sent them a current graphic.
Car Wash and Bake Sale will be held Saturday the 18th.
Leslie Ward to bring hoses
John Lopez to bring table, buckets, and cleaner
Mr. Lopez has a sign up sheet for car wash and bake sale (goodies and work shifts)
Booster Membership drive is completed. Mr. Lopez has the forms. Leslie Ward to put a reminder about our next meeting on the web site in a prominent location.
New Business
Band Camp Meals. Carolyn Greenlief, Leslie Ward, and Mr. Lopez to make sandwiches Sunday afternoon. During the week Amy Shreeves, Carolyn Greenlief, and Caty Minigh will make sandwiches as needed.
Finale Software. Amy Shreeves moved that we approve funds to purchase this software; Cathy Minigh seconded.
Ad Page. Ads will be sold the first week of school. Mr. Lopez has the forms. Amy Shreeves will check with Ed Corcoran about the cost of a full page ad and when the deadline would be. Our first game is Friday the 7th and we'd like to get the ad in the paper on Wednesday the 5th.
Tag Day. Tabled for now.
Pizza. Di Carlo's will sell us pizza for $8 apiece; we can sell slices for $1 at the games and make $8 per pizza (16 slices per pizza). Mrs. Butcher has approved this; Mr. Lopez will speak with Kelly Radcliffe of the Athletic Boosters to see if they want to make this a joint venture or if it will cause problems for us to sell pizza at the games.
Transportation. Many children miss practices because they have no transportation. Parents can give rides but it opens them up to liability problems if an accident occurs. Mr. Lopez is going to see if we can fill out chaperone forms which will bring us under the Board of Education's insurance policy for the purpose of transporting band students to practices.
We would like to have a page in the football program showing the band's picture and names. Currently the cheerleaders (who do the program) don't have a sponsor for us to speak with.
Anita Metz' information book is ready for the next treasurer. She has included a copy of our bylaws and the completed Tax ID Number form.
Anita Metz showed us a fund raiser. Shirts, pants, wallets, etc. at about half off. Purchases are made via a flyer that we distribute or on the company's website; a special code number is used at the time of purchase so that our band gets credit for the purchase. We get sent a check for 10% of all purchases made using our code. http://payjusthalf.com Zaken Liquidation Club. Our code is LC31468-0001
Titan Vision Commercial. Leslie Ward to talk to Jeremy Rodriguez about this.

Carolyn Greenlief, and carried.
Respectfully Submitted
