Band Booster Meeting
December 5, 2006

President Leslie Ward called meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.  Members present were:  Leslie Ward, Carolyn Greenlief, John Lopez, Sam Delante, Evelyn Fraley, Leanne Walker, Breck Lamar.

Reading of Minutes
Mr. Lopez made a motion to approve last month's minutes as written.  Carolyn Greenlief seconded.  Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report
Mr. Lopez gave the treasurer's report which had been provided to him by Anita Metz.  We paid $100 registration fees for the five students attending all-state auditions.  This leaves a balance of $1628.44 in the checking account.
Committee Reports
Leslie Ward left a message with Donna Waddell at Family Resource Network (FRN) in Glenville regarding the community yard sale but has not heard back.  She will keep trying to contact Ms. Waddell.
Unfinished Business
Pizza Hut fund raiser has been put on hold until after the holidays.
Spaghetti dinner at Coffee and Friends has also been put on hold until after the holidays.
Letterhead has been taken care of. 
Anita Metz was not present to ask about the water cooler.  Leslie will try to call her or we can discuss at next meeting.
New Business
Christmas concert
Scheduled for Tuesday December 19th at 7:00 in the gym.  Students should be in the band room at 6:15.  Another concert will be given during school on Thursday December 21st.
Mr. Lopez will design the program and Evelyn Fraley will print it.
Donation table will be manned by Leslie Ward and Evelyn Fraley.
Programs will be handed out by Carolyn Greenlief and one other person; Leslie will see if Amy Shreves or Anita Metz can do this.
Bingo.  Amy Shreves has checked into this and we just need to send a letter to the Elks club in Clarksburg requesting their services.  Leslie Ward will contact secretary Cindy Pounds about writing the letter.
Announcements
The pep band will begin playing at games after the winter break.  Details to be announced.
All-State auditions are going to be January 6th at Fairmont State. Mr. Lopez and Amy Shreves will drive.

Sam Delante made a motion that the meeting adjourn; Mr. Lopez seconded.  Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 5:55.
