Band Booster Meeting October 3, 2006 President Leslie Ward called meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. Members present were: Leslie Ward, Cindy Pounds, Anita Metz, Trisha Metz, Jeremy Rodriguez, Sam Delanter, LeAnn Walker, John Lopez, Carolyn Greenlief, and Evelyn Fraley. Treasurer’s Report There is $2,061.00 in the checking account. Old Business Discussion continued as to include students as office holders. It was decided not to change the constitution as of now. Fundraisers Jeremy Rodriquez has contacted Pizza Hut and the fundraiser date has been set for October 23rd. He will confirm this with Pizza Huts new manager. Information will be sent home with students and they will also be responsible for flyer distribution. Carla Weaver volunteered to sell seat cushions and license plates at homecoming football game. Mr. Lopez will confer with Student Council for permission. Sarah Sivard purchased with her own money, the buckets used at the mini-titan game and would like to be reimbursed. The cost was $10.00. Leslie moved and John seconded. Motion carried. Anita will write her a check in the amount of $10.00. Events & Information GCHS Homecoming beginning band and alumni will join high school band on the field at half time. Discussion ensued as to buy t-shirts for those persons. Cindy motioned to go ahead and purchase the shirts, Anita seconded. Vote carried with 1 opposed. Cindy will check with T-Rex Graphics. We will participate in the GSC homecoming parade. We need to be either in the band room or the fine arts building at GSC by 8:00 a.m. Mr. Lopez will direct students. Kerr’s did not deliver the horns for beginning band as scheduled. They will be here before homecoming. The uniforms for the color guard are in transit. New Business Additional fundraiser ideas: Yard sale in the spring, Sock Hop. Meeting adjourned at 6:25.
