Derek Sanchez, Trumpet Artist

Performer and Educator

 Derek Sanchez is a highly accomplished and versitile trumpet player currently based in the Greater Phoenix area.  An experienced orchestral player as a member of the Sinfonia Da Camera, Champaign-Urbana Symphony, and Prairie Ensemble, Derek is also an accomplished lead trumpet player, having held the lead position in the University of Illinois Concert Jazz Band, University Latin Band, and most recently with the  Disney Collegiate All-Stars Band in Anaheim, CA.

                    An enthusiastic teacher, Derek has taught privately for 6 years and has performed as an Artist-in-Residence with his brass quintet, The Tantara Brass.
