Hello and welcome to the BCS BAND Page of Pride! Here you can find updates, calendars and schedules to keep track of BCS BAND events.
The Winter and Spring Concerts will both be held at BCS this year! Mrs. Kessler will host the Winter Choral Concert on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Mr. Spratt will host the Winter Band Concert on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. The Spring Concert dates are June 2nd and 3rd 2009. The Spring Concerts will be Choral on Tuesday and Band on Wedesday.
Following the Spring Band Concert will be the Annual High Note Festival at Dorney Park on Friday, June 5, 2008. We anticipate an early start around 6:00 or 6:30 A.M. with an evening return to BCS. Concert and Jazz Members in grades 6-8 will participate.
Jazz Band Festival Schedule
1) Ventnor Jazz Festival
Thursday 1/15/00 9:00 a.m. - 1:20 pm.
Performance time: TBA
Additional Details: 2 Parent Chaperones needed, Pizzs Lunch provided free of charge to performers
2) Rowan Jazz Festival
Wednesday 2/11 OR 2/12/09 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 pm.
Performance time: TBA
Additional Details: 2 Parent Chaperones needed, Lunch money or bag lunch needed by each student
3) Medford Memorial Middle School Jazz Festival
Thursday 3//26/09 4:00 p.m. - 10:30 pm.
Performance time: TBA
Additional Details: 2 Parent Chaperones needed, Pizza and other snacks available for sale following BCS' performance
